Math: This week, we worked on our geometry unit.

Reading: In the last 2 weeks we started our unit on Astronomy.

Phonics: We introduced prefixes and their meanings.

Social Studies: We read and focused on the Great Wall of China.

Science: This week we are wrapping up simple machines and reviewing forces.

SEL: This week we continued our March Madness Book Bracket.

How many sides does an octagon have?

What is an example of an eclipse?

What is one prefix that means not?

What is one advantage of the Great Wall of China?

What is friction?

What was your favorite read aloud?

Have your child identify geometric shapes throughout your house and community.

Look at the night sky for a glimpse at our solar system.

Practice writing sentences with prefixes.

Research facts on Ancient China.

Identify friction in your everyday life (driving, brakes, etc).

Discuss self-awareness.
